AVAILABLE POSITIONS

EXPERIENCED TIG WELDERS | 2ND SHIFT

Successful applicant for this position will have worked in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, Have 3+ years in production TIG welding and have TIG welding experience with stainless steel, galvanized and mild steel. This position is full-time, 2ND shift requiring at least 50 hours weekly.

Compensation Range: $21.00 – $31.00 Hourly, DOE (Depending on experience)

 

  • Performs TIG & MIG welding of stainless steel, galvanized and mild steel
  • Fabricates parts and components from shop drawings or blue prints
  • Perform job tasks in a safe and efficient manner; observe all safety policies and procedures
  • Must be able to work with fractions and decimal system using a tape measure and calipers
  • Utilizes computer terminal to log into jobs and maintain accurate job records.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Reliable Team Player
  • Three + years of TIG welding and fabrication experience
  • Ability to fabricate from blueprints, drawings and templates
  • Knowledge of standard weld symbols and standards.
  • High school education, GED or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Proven measurement and mathematical fraction / decimal conversion skills using a tape measure and calipers

CNC OPERATOR | 2ND SHIFT

CNC Operators will have 3 + years experience operating CNC mills and / or lathes in a manufacturing environment. Must possess mechanical aptitude, keen eye for detail, and good math skills. Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc. Positions are 2ND shift and require minimum 50 hours weekly.

Compensation Range: $19.00 – $22.00 Hourly, DOE (Depending on experience)

  • Operates computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • Loading and unloading parts
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Wears PPE and keeps work area clean and well organized
  • Participates in the safety program and maintains safety practices related to machining

EXPERIENCED CNC MACHINISTS | 2ND SHIFT

CNC Machinists will have 5 to 8 or more years experience in a manufacturing environment with precision CNC machining experience and some form of trade school or apprenticeship background or training. High level of proficiency, mechanical aptitude with good math skills. Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc. Ability to easily setup and maintain CNC equipment and have ability to do some intro level programming. Positions are 2ND shift and require minimum 50 hours weekly

Compensation Range: $20.00 – $28.00 Hourly, DOE (Depending on experience)

  • Sets up and maintains CNC equipment proficiently and accurately
  • Performs complete machining and deburring of machined parts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Utilizes computer terminal to log into jobs and maintain accurate job records.
  • Performs routine dimensional and visual inspection of completed product
  • Wears PPE and keeps work area clean and well organized
  • Safely and efficiently perform mechanical die changes with minimal down time.
  • Participates in the safety program and maintains safety practices related to machining
  • Five to Eight years + machining experience
  • Skilled trade school / apprenticeship experience
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings or blueprints
  • Proven measurement and mathematical fraction / decimal conversion skills using a tape measure and calipers
  • Knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, etc.

PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR | 2ND SHIFT

Experienced sheet metal press brake operator uses skill, knowledge and experience to read and follow detailed blueprints and schematics. Sets up, troubleshoots, maintains and operates press brake machines safely to shape multiple types of sheet metal by loading into press brake machine for shaping or straightening, aligning and positioning material to achieve specific shapes, constantly inspecting fresh sheet metal for imperfections for the optimum overall quality result

Compensation Range: $18.00 – $28.00 Hourly, DOE (Depending on experience)

Will include the following but not limited to:

  • Maintain, set up, operate and troubWears PPE and keeps work area clean and well organized
  • Safely and efficiently perform mechanical die changes with minimal down time.
  • Maintain a consistent rate of production.
  • Perform basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Loads and unloads sheet metal materials parts, or products onto and from press brake machine from and to pallets or skids
  • Report proper data as needed – including delay time, completion times and piece count
  • Perform quality checks to include weight, density, size; utilizing different mathematical equations and tools in short timeframes.
  • Wears PPE and keeps work area clean and well organized
  • Participates in the safety program and maintains safety practices related to machining

  • Amada NC-9 or H.G. Controller experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

GENERAL PRODUCTION

Compensation Range: $15.50 – $16.50 Hourly, DOE (Depending on experience)

Assists in machine shop activities while learning the various operations and job duties; may perform any or all of the following duties:

Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, or trucks.

  • Delivers metal parts or stock to designated work areas for manufacturing.
  • Lifts metal part or stock onto machine and secures it on machine table, or holding fixture to assist in setting up machine.
  • Feeds metal parts or stock into automatic metalworking machines and removes fabricated part from machine after prescribed period of time or at end of machine cycle.
  • Adds coolant and lubricant to reservoirs of machines and lubricates machine parts and ways.
  • Sweeps shop floor and collects trash; places trash in dumpsters.
  • Removes metal chips, slugs and shavings from surfaces of machines and wipes surfaces of machines to remove excess oil.
  • Cleans around work areas. Separates metal shavings, chips, and scrap materials from trash and places them in bins for recycle. Removes burrs or excess metal from fabricated parts.
  • Enters data accurately within job time system and time/attendance system.
  • Demonstrates accountability for materials used. • Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRES at least 1 year of production, manufacturing, machine operation or mechanical experience. EDUCATION: Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

LANGUAGE:  Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATH: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; manufacturing environment, with impact and automatic machinery; high intensity noise areas are enclosed.
