WILLITS, CA – METALfx, a precision metal fabricator headquartered in Willits, CA, is pleased to announce the success of a recent partnering with Factory Pipe LLC., in Ukiah, CA, to provide Manufacturing (MFG) Day tours to our local schools in Lake and Mendocino County. The MFG Day tours are offered to educate, inform and excite local students about career opportunities in the manufacturing industry.
METALfx welcomed over 150 students and their teachers from Lower Lake High School, Potter Valley High School, Willits High School, Ukiah High School, Round Valley High School, Laytonville High School, Lakeport High School, Clearlake High School, Sequoia Career Academy in Ukiah, South Valley High School in Ukiah and students in Mendocino College’s MESA program.

National Manufacturing Day marks the beginning a series of 2000+ events taking place throughout the month of October. METALfx and FactoryPipe LLC are among the very few manufacturers in Northern CA to host MFG Day events and will continue offering tours to local students every October.
